Cleansers come in many forms and should be Used Twice a Day as the first step in Your Skin Care Routine.

Every skin type needs proper cleansing, exfoliating, and hydration. All different skin types require specific and different ingredients to achieve the required balance. So in the end, the skin should be properly Ph-balanced. The soap is not recommended; it can form a film on the top of the skin and is pretty alkaline, which may cause dryness and various other problems.

  • Also, cleansers can be designed for combination skin types to balance pH and the oily and dry parts of the face.

To find out what Skin Type you have, get in front of a mirror without any makeup on your face. Look at the center of your face and check the pores on the nose, cheeks, chin, and forehead if you see any visible pores you have an Oily Skin Type, if not and you feel like your skin it’s tight during the whole day then you probably have a Dry Skin Type.

If you see any redness or visible capillaries around the nose and cheek area, then you probably have a Sensitive Skin Type which can also be easily irritated.

The Combination Skin Type can be both oily and dry or both oily and normal and you usually will get oily around the T-Zone (forehead, nose, and chin) with sometimes dry cheeks.  

The Normal Skin Type has a well-balanced oil-water ratio and normally the skin is free of blemishes.

*The cleansers that rinse with water and don’t strip the natural acid mantle of the skin, are the best choice, which will leave the skin fresh and clean but it will not make it tight. The feeling of clean but still not tight is a very good indicator that the particular cleanser it’s Ph balanced. (An exception here is the very oily skin type, who needs a stronger gel cleanser. After the use of gel cleanser, the skin feels tight, and usually, you have to apply a toner immediately to balance the Ph level and use a moisturizer specifically designed for oily skin type).

In the summertime, you can use even three times a day, morning, midday, and evening. After using the gel cleanser the skin is clean but usually very tight.

Acne Cleanser with Benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid or sulfur

The Acne-Prone Cleanser is designed for Moderate to Mild AcneExtremely Oily, and also Chronic Acne-Prone Skin. This type of cleanser is fairly thick and removes the effects of the accumulation of corneocytes on the top of the skin.

“Milky” Lotion Cleansers – Dry, Combination,  Normal, and Sensitive Skin Type

The “Milky” Lotion Cleanser is used on Dry, Combination, Normal, and Sensitive Skin Type and is a water-based emulsion. The “Milky” Lotion Cleanser consists of more oils or emollience that will make the dry skin softer, and it is quite recommended.

If Your Skin is Normal try to use Hydrating Cleanser because your skin usually is blemish-free and is perfect and balanced, the hydration cleanser will keep your skin the way it is for a long time.

Cream Cleanser – Mature And Very Dry Skin

If you have a Dry Skin type use White Creamy Cleanser to lock the hydration to your skin and to keep your skin from water and sebum loss.

The cream cleansers tend to be much heavier compared to the cleansing lotions. It is recommended however, the Cream Cleansers be removed with a soft cloth or a sponge. If not, it can leave some residue that is still not removed from the skin’s surface.
